Your hosts are Al and Natalie who have made Singapore their home over the last 15 years. They are both avid travellers and foodies. They have travelled the Med extensively.
Al has close to 35 years experience in the family kitchen. His family of Spanish descent spent generations in colonial Morocco before migrating to France where he was born. Growing up, festive food was mostly Moroccan or Provencal and he holds those traditional family recipes close to his heart. Since then he has explored and experienced many other Mediterranean dishes.
Natalie is from Hong Kong but has grown to love Mediterranean food. She trained as a junior chef at the Westin Shanghai's Preggo's Italian kitchen before moving front of house and launching the Westin's first award winning brunch over 15 years ago. Since then her career has followed a different route but she is truly the hostess with the mostess.
