About Cook & Dine with Al!

Al welcomes groups of 4/5 guests on weekdays from 10am to 2pm or 3pm to 7pm for a fun filled morning/afternoon of cooking his favourite Mediterranean recipes in the Med@59JCT home kitchen in Joo Chiat.

 

After an afternoon in the kitchen guests can enjoy eating the food they have prepared in the Med@59JCT dining space or take away!

This is a perfect chill-out activity for a group of friends (wine available on request), as you can get as involved in the cooking as you'd like. We also welcome children aged 12 and above for a fun family activity. 


Al has 35 years experience in the family kitchen. His family of Spanish descent spent several generations in colonial Morocco before migrating to France where he was born.

 

Growing up, festive food was mostly Moroccan or Provencal and he holds those traditional recipes close to his heart. Since then he has explored many other Mediterranean dishes, which he enjoys cooking for friends and family, and our guests.

How it works

The standard price for the session is $650. Specific requests may result in a different price. We kindly request payment in full 3 days in advance through PayNow.The experience is optimal for 5 guests cooking, but we can add further guests as required up to 8 guests at an extra $100 per guest.

Sangria making is available at an extra $90. Bottles of wines and Prosecco also available at $75. Non-alcoholic option is a Moroccan mint lemonade, which you can learn to make (or simply enjoy) at $35 per bottle.
